Guidance through difficult change
A regional company faced an almost 50% reduction in work force. They had to restructure and retrain their whole organization within 60 days. They wanted to help the remaining employees process such a large change, to continue to be productive and safe, while working in a downsized organization. Through weekly meetings, Cynthia and the client identified a strategic vision and actions to meet that vision. As a result, they built stronger ties among the management team, the supervisors and with employees. The company made the transition smoothly.

"Cynthia helps employees make the difficult transition from saying 'we don't have enough time, you caused this -- you fix it' to 'maybe we can do it' and [with pride] 'we do this...it's our job...we do it well'."

Training
A college located in the middle of an office park often fielded requests from small, surrounding companies to provide low-cost management training. The college asked Cynthia to develop a new course that could be offered to supervisors from different disciplines and companies, all at the same time, thereby saving on training expenses for the individual companies. Cynthia designed and delivered this training on evaluating and supervising employees, preparing supervisors from over 30 organizations.

"Participants have consistently rated Cynthia’s courses as creative, engaging and knowledgeable. Many especially appreciate the participative nature of her training."

Leadership of Business and Community Meetings

A local nonprofit organization faced the welcome challenge of success with its existing programs, opportunities to incorporate new programs, as well as a chance to purchase land and expand their facilities. Through several strategic visioning meetings, Cynthia and the client evaluated and expanded their mission and created an action plan. Their budget and services have expanded many-fold since then.

“Thanks…the amount of agreement we could all recognize and acknowledge would not have become apparent without your assistance. Good job!”
